What Portable Light Connects Here?

I have a 2016 X254. It has a king bed slide out that extends off the back or tail end of the trailer. It appears that there is a portable light that is supposed to plug into the ceiling, much like the portable lights found in a pop-up camper. I did not get one with the new purchase of my trailer.

I contacted the dealer and Jayco directly. Neither were much help. I can buy the one pictured for about $35 off Amazon that would plug into the socket I have for one. The problem is I don't have the tubular tent support found in a pop-up that it is designed to clamp it to. I have what you see in the picture. It's two smaller diameter U-shaped brackets (smaller than a tubular tent support) and I have no idea what portable type of light is supposed to clamp there.

Any clues?Click image for larger version

The lights look the same, but the clips are smaller. I'm not sure what size of clips the x254 takes (I have the x213, but do not have the lights yet).

Good luck!

We had a JayFeather that had those brackets also. The light that came with ours was like the one you have pictured but the clips were closed more at the top to snap onto the bracket.

Thanks paul_ottawa and bluie5 for the insight. I figured it was a carry over from the pop-up camper. I was just hoping there was another one out there to conform to the skinnier brackets. Instead, they cheaped out. I suppose I can pick one up, pinch the clamps tighter and change out the bulb for a LED. Thanks again!

... You could always get some battery powered LED puck lights and install them as well (would probably be cheaper)...
