What should I do when picking up my new trailer?

I've seen some people on here referencing a "PID" (pre-delivery inspection?) and I'm not sure if there's some type of a checklist somewhere that I can take with me.

From the moment I arrive to the moment we pull out with our trailer, what should I expect? What should I expect from the dealer? I'm assuming they'll walk me through the use of the trailer (hitch/unhitch, stabilizer jacks, A/C, heater, water heater/pump, black, grey, fresh tanks, etc..

I'm anticipating a pickup of our new 154BH this week.

Yes, PDI (pre-delivery inspection) should be performed by you at the dealership.
A complete walk through and inspection of everything from all the systems, to the fit and finish of the rig.

See here for detailed info:

Just a good idea: after you pick up your trailer from the dealer and you have towed it home, run yourself and your family through the PDI and all that goes into set up and take down.

Talking iPhone Notes

We got our '16 264BHW several weeks ago and went through our PDI in their CG at the dealership. They also gave us a free night to stay & camp in your new trailer on-premises. Went well, and we had several questions in the morning that were easily answered with our salesperson.

Our first night camping on our own we needed to turn the furnace on. The Atwood control is VERY tight, to say the least. We thought we were going to break it, so we didn't turn it on. I added that to the NOTES app on my iPhone. Keep a list of things you're not sure about because you'll get back to the dealer, and inevitably forget 2 or 3 items inquire info on.

We got our new TT from Crestview RV in Buda, TX. They are a smaller dealer, but they have a good selection. You might find them in the Good Sam directory. The price we got on our bunk house was real good.

We just were out getting the unit weighed on the scales, and went down to Camping World to do a little shopping. Some good prices for sure...
