what to do with windows at night

So we have the double pane full slide windows. This is the first trip we could have left windows open during the night. However we chose not to. My other camper had metal mini blinds so I could leave them in almost any position while the windows were open. This still did not let allot of light in. My question how or do you leave your windows open with the night shades. I am worried wind will damage them or something will break. I don't know if the push out windows have this issue or not. How do others deal with this. I also don't want all the light in the morning and like the privacy.

Our windows are always open unless it's too cold/hot or we are getting wet. We haven't had any issues yet with the blinds. Sometime we have to retact the blinds a little to help get a little more air flow but that's really the only issue we have run in to with leaving the blinds down.

We had day/night shades in our class-B and spent lots of nights in that. After dark, with the interior lights on, the shades were down. If we got too hot due to lack of ventilation, usually the lights were shut off and the shades went up.

In bed, if I got wet (I slept next to the window) or the DW was too cold, I shut the window. The shades were virtually always open, unless privacy demanded otherwise. The windows all had screens so when the inside lights were off, we were comfortable with the windows partially or completely open and the shades open a corresponding amount.

I replaced all the night shades with mini blinds. Best thing I have done to date.
