Here's my two cents worth: While still hooked up to the tow vehicle I place a "yellow chock" in front of each trailer wheel. I then pull forward just slightly with the tow vehicle and then lock its parking brake and place tranny in park. I then put the other chocks behind the rear wheels and tap them lightly with a rubber mallet. I then proceed to unhook the trailer knowing that it's not going to roll away on me!
