My rig has the Dexter TORQ-N-GO wheel nuts. I had never seen them before and I am very satisified with their claims to provide 200% more clamping load than regular lug nuts.
I don't think they came on later models, not sure.
The torque is the same.
For 8 lug nuts, 16"rim, steel/aluminum or chrome.
Stage 1 - 40-50 ft/lbs
stage 2 - 95
stage 3 - 115
available range 90-120 ft/lbs
The chart also lists tightening patterns. If you do your own tire changes, you should be familiar with these procedures.
Also, you can keep the tire guy honest too!
A torque wrench is a must have when working on trailers.
