where can i find a nice custom mattress topper for my 2012' x213?

i have a "king size"bed mattress on my little x213 tt. it is the original that came with the trailer. it is not very comfortable as it is pretty much just a 3" thick pad. i cant get a regular mattress because height would be an issue. is there a website or a place where i can get a really lush mattress topper to make the original more comfortable? any help would be greatly appreciated

Thats what we did, and are very happy with it. At first i was concerned it would not stay in place, but it does.

I am looking around for a 2" topper too.....kinda wished I had laid down on the bed before buying it....I would have made them either replace the mattress or install the topper. I a going to try and see if I can get the dealer to do something about it before the next camping season

We just got a 3" memory foam pad from Bed Bath and Beyond. We got the queen size and had to cut 5 1/2 inches off the length. It's nice but cost about $200.

We bought a 4" memory foam from Wal-Mart.

I was there just yesterday and checked the king size 4" memory price. It was on sale for $114. There were only two left in stock. Wish I had waited 'till after Christmas to buy ours.

We got ours (foam) at Sears... but should have just got one from Wal Mart for cheaper... anyway we are very happy with the comfort. But we have a spring mattress on our "short" queen bed, so the topper was mainly to put some padding between us and the springs.

You might also consider checking out IKEA in your area as well. They have lots of different foam and stuffed mattresses in a variety of thicknesses. You might be able to do a complete replacement with one of theirs that still fits your total maximum thickness allowance (if other dimensions work). We used to have a Murphy bed that would not allow for more than 9" so we had a 5 or 6 inch coil mattress with an additional 2" topper on it, all from IKEA. It was a comfortable bed and that thin topper made making the bed a real breeze. We still use it on a guest bed in the house. Anyway, you can check out their website and see if any of the dimensions could work.

I bought a 4 inch topper at Walmart online for about 120 bucks a couple of years ago. It has 1.5 inches of memory foam on one side, 2.5 inches of high density foam on the other. I've used it on top of the short queen mattress, underneath it, and today, because the queen mattress that came with my trailer has a big dent in it, and I hurt in the mornings, I tossed the queen mattress in the dumpster.

Tonight I'm going to sleep on only the 4 inch mattress topper on the plywood base. Wish me luck! I'll let you know how it worked out tomorrow morning.
