where do you keep your hitch/wd bars/sway control...

when in storage?
at camp?

Ive been keeping mine in front bin...locked...hitch inside camper, locked...when in storage

at camp, all in front bin...I take hitch off tv to save shins

but I lose a lot of bin space this way
some of my buds just drop everything under the tongue...where anyone could take it

just wondering what others do

Like your buds I leave mine under the front of TT. Years of camping and never lost a hitch yet.

Inside storage at home just toss on the floor
Camping, hitch tossed behind tire, bars across Aframe, nothing locked

At home
Bars stored with Trailer in storage. Hitch kept in garage out of weather.

At camp
Bars stored with trailer. Hitch kept on left passenger foot area. I keep an old towel to wrap around it to keep the truck clean. I also keep a pair of work gloves with it so carry it without getting grease on me.

The Andersen hitch was nice as with no bars, just had to store the hitch, cuz there were no bars, just the chains that stayed on the trailer.

The new Reese Steadi-Flex, all components will be in the truck bed under the canopy locked up.

In storage my bars are in the front storage compartment. My hitch is usually at home in the garage in case I need to tow something else.

Camping, my bars rest nicely across the A-frame behind the propane tanks. Keeps them out of the dirt and mostly out of sight. I leave the hitch on the truck, but put a rubber cap over the ball to prevent grease smears. I tend to only bark my shin on it once a year, vs the risk of throwing out my back on the first day up camping.

ETA: I guess I do take the hitch off if I am swapping the bike rack from the TT to the TV for an excursion. Then it just sits on the ground under the tongue.

Hitch is stored in front compartment and bars on the L brackets on the tongue both at home and camping.

I always keep it all stored in my front compartment, locked, when not in use on the truck. I have off site storage so I don't want it sitting around at home taking up space.

I keep the hitch and bars in the front compartment on the side opposite of the entry door. It sits right beside my latex gloves, grease and bin with sewer accessories.

I like it being out of sight and out of the weather.

At home: everything stays in the garage. I can’t use one side because the trailer is in the way.

At camp: I put the bars across the tongue. There’s a light coating of grease on the part that goes into the sockets of the hitch head, so keeping them off the ground keeps them clean. I keep the hitch on the truck unless we’re staying somewhere for a while. The truck’s backup warning system thinks that something is always behind me, and it gets annoying after a while.

I store mine in this... it locks the WDH hitch in place on the tongue of the trailer and that secured the bars in place.

That is one of the things that I really like about my Anderson. No mess, no fuss when you unhook. I'm bad and I just leave my shank and ball on the truck with a locking hitch pin after we unhook so there is absolutely nothing to store.

At Home I keep them in the shop.
Camping the bars laid against the tongue and the hitch in the receiver.

Well, I'm real new at this so maybe I don't have as much stuff in the trailer storage compartments so I just put the hitch & sway bars in there & lock 'em up. I leave them in there when I get home too.
