A 36" level in the middle of the floor measuring North to South and East to West before unhooking. Also have a large level in front of the 5er I watch in the rear view mirror so I can "ballpark" it as I am backing it in the space we are camping.

I use the level on the electric jack. It has a large round level that checks front to back and side to side all at once. It wasn't correct from factory but it is adjustable so I set it using a 4' level on kitchen floor.
