Where do you put the shampoo?

I've got the Jayco Feather Sport 221 and it has a very small shower / tub combination. There's not much room on the rim to put a bar of soap and shampoo.

I'm looking for your suggestions on how to create a shelf or place for these things. I'd like to have at a minimum room for a bar of soap, bottle of shampoo and a place to hang a washcloth.

Any ideas? How do you handle this?

We usually just use the little plastic travel soap container that you can buy at WM (box sorta thing) and keep it on the top shelf in shower when in a cg. We close it up and stow it on the road. I like it because it's easier to keep the soap scum off the shower surround (we just rinse the container out once in a while). Or if I am going to shower after swimming in the cg facilities, it's easy to grab and go. I don't like it because I have to remember to stow it when pulling out of camp (but it's on the check-off list so we do ok with that).

Hammerdown, I also like that soap holder you posted

Hammerdown,

Unfortunately, suction cups are not an option since the TT has a textured wallpaper in the shower and not smooth walls. I don't like liquid soap either because I'm somewhat sensitive to sodium lauryl sulfate.

Healthi,

What "top shelf in shower?" Couldn't find one in my trailer ;-)

You might consider using one of the soap and shampoo holders made to slip over household shower pipes (the pipe that comes out of the wall and to which the shower head is attached. The narrow half-circle that usually rests on the shower pipe could be bent outward to enable it to slip over the shower wand holder in the travel trailer shower. Just a thought.

Believe it or not, yes. Here are the photos: http://www.northtrailrv.com/inventory/stocknumber/6202

In hindsight, I probably should have paid more attention to that. After I bought it, I noticed the Jayco X213 model that looks much better.

Yeah some come equipped with the tub/shower surround and some do not. Ours did as part of a package and it has the little shelves on it.
