Where is the water heater by pass values located in 2017 Hummingbird 17FD?

Is it under the seat of the dining room bench nearest the water heater?? I don't want to start taking out screws without knowing first! Thanks!!

Best way is look on the outside for the HWT panel cover, the tank is right behind it inside, usually just have to lift a plywood lid under a cushion.

Agree with what Sundance said. If it's the same as my 17RB the valves will be right next to the tank along with the bypass.

On our 17RK it is under the bed up front, I imagine yours would be in the same vicinity.

Some newer rigs now come with a bypass arrangement with 2 -3way valves instead of 3 - 2 way valves.

Don't worry, they don't tell you until you look.

On the 17FD the water heater shut off valves are under the bed on the left side of the trailer. The water pump is under the dinette bench seat on the left side as well.
