Wow JFlightRisk you are the man! Thanks for all the info. Now i have a couple more questions lol. For the skylight im thinking maybe white vs the clear because light will still come in for bathroom but might block a little heat? Or is it the same either way? Didnt realize they made them custom. I figured they would have them ready by trailer model. guess i got to get up there and measure.

The skylight color is a matter of preference. Our TT had a white one, so that was what I replaced it with. There's an inner skylight panel also, so to us it didn't really matter much.
So it looks like this is the door latch i have.

But the plastic peg is snapped off. Wondering if i should just get the same one or switch to metal. Are these universal? Will the metal one fit the same screw holes? Is the one you sent link for the one you recommend?
I'm not positive if the screw holes/pattern is identical between the plastic and metal ones or not. For the metal latches I've actually replaced on other folks' trailers, those did line up. You could take your parts off, and maybe take them to a dealer to compare first. You may get lucky.
As for the caulking around the "outside penetrations" your saying to just put the butyl tape over it? Isnt that going to look ugly with tape around everything? I can see using the tape on the roof because no one sees it. Or maybe im misunderstanding? Thanks again for all the info i can use all the help i can get!
No, the butyl goes underneath, not on top. Yeah, that would look terrible. The butyl tape goes between the device mounting flange and the trailer wall, or roof. You'll need to take it off, clean the old butyl off, and reapply some new tape, then reinstall it. Being in a Florida climate, the edges of the old tape that you can see, may be dry and brittle, but underneath the device flange, it still might be pliable. Unfortunately, you may have to remove something to see if that is indeed the case, or it needs to be resealed with the new tape. When in doubt, new stuff will ensure it's sealed up, and keeping water out.
It may sound like a lot of work, but that's the nature of the hobby we all live with. Maintenance is very important to increase the longevity of any RV. Good luck, and have fun with it. If you have any other questions, ask away. It's what we all do here for each other.
