Looking to help remove some of the moisture while staying in our trailer. What are you guys using?

For us we bought a small one off amazon, seems to work okay so far. (not an affiliate link)
Beyn Mini Dehumidifier for Home,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JC4PX1X...p_mob_ap_share
What we like is it has a hose that we can dangle into the sink so we don't have to drain a bucket.

What size is your TT, what part of the country (Oregon)? are you camping or living.

I've got a 29ft Jayco MBH, all season package. We're currently living in our RV in Colorado. It's been getting down to <30⁰F most nights. Thankfully no snow yet, but I know it's coming.

I've used this dehumidifier for three years now. I liked the first one so much, I purchased a second one. If you look at the reviews, you'll see my review is the top critical review. I just updated it today.

This summer it rained and rained and rained. Thus, our ground was wet and we suffered with mold in the trailer way too often. Of course, we vented as best we could, but when its a gully-washer we can't exactly open the windows. Our windows were fogged up and wet all Summer when we were camping.
Thus, this thread piqued my interest.
I bought the Beyn listed in post #2. I understand what the humidity requirements were, but I don't have a gauge so I don't know what it was.
Last weekend we camped - night temps were in the 20's and daytime in the 40's. It did rain some. The furnace was run 100% - set at 60 F at night, 68 in the day, and 50 when we were not inside.
I charted performance - I got maybe an ounce in 5 hours. I don't know if that's good or not.
However.......what I DID notice was that the window fogging was greatly reduced. Maybe it was lower humidity, or maybe the unit was working well.
Any comments...??

In humid winter weather, which is the definition of the northwest, I get about half gallon a week out of the motor home.

I have had 3 of them and all had the external drain option. The one I have now came from Lowes and is a Hilsense.

We don't carry it with us, just use it in our yard when not occupied. It would likely to noisy for us even though its not very noisy.

Finally got my Dehumidifier and will be installing it in my TT tomorrow with a continuous drain. Ran it thru a one day test at home an it captured quite a bit of water and drain worked as expected.

In the deep south Damp rid liquifies in about 2 days.

I agree, I could not keep Damp Rid in it, got too costly.
Even buying it at the dollar store, it was $1.50/ tub. I was putting 6 in at a time.

Didn't think about that. I'm in the inland northwest where crazy humidity is not an issue most of the time, and I'm just trying for a little winter absorbtion,

Just bought the Yaufey PD161D 30 pint Dehumidifier off Amazon. Over 23,000 sold. I have it set at 30% to run continuous and check on it once in a while. I do have it hooked up to manual drain, not into the tank on the unit.
