I pull a 322RLOK Jayco Eagle and I am a Blue Ox Pro fan. I didn't like the reese straightline. I had found backing up in tight quarters a problem.

There are a lot of good hitches out there. Key it to get one with an integrated sway control.

I too have an Equalizer E4. Absolutely love it. When I got it, it made a little noise. Greased the ball, and a little lube on the pivot points for the bars. I do not the little friction pads others have mentioned.

Husky is a great WDH

Husky is great for anti sway as well.

But a 27” footer with a 250/2500 won’t matter which one you use.

Equalizer or Curt Tru trac

I towed 35’ Travel Trailer with my Silverado 2500HD and used the equalizer for over 5 years no issues. I really like the Curt Tru Trac looks a lot sturdier than 12k equalizer setup I have. Either one would serve you well both do weight distribution and sway control.

Ditto on the Husky, we have the Straight Line TS and having towed over 8K miles with our RAM 1500 in all sorts of conditions I have yet to experience a "white knuckle" moment. Key is insuring proper configuration/setup and weight distribution in both the trailer and the TV. I did purchase the Better Weigh module that plugs into the OBD port and have found it to be right at 98% accurate.

We have a 2019 Jayco Jay Feather 27BH.
Bought a new truck, 23021 Silverado 2500 HD 4WD LTZ crew cab.

What hitch system is the best for this set up considering ease of use and importantly sway control?
I have used the "EZ-hitch and find it works well for load and sway on our 2014 Jayco whitehawk 27rbok. Not difficult to install.
