I have the 28BHS and was pulling with a 2005 SC F150 with a GVWR of 7200. I upgraded my TV yesterday because I was not comfortable pushing the GVWR and or going over with my family in the car and nothing in the bed.

Crewmaniacs, welcome to the forum. We just bought a new Jayco from Voyager in Winfield. They have the lowest prices. They have a few 2011s still in stock. It might be worth checking them out. Half of their sales are over the Internet. There is a post in the problems sections where a new Jayco BH owner complained of a lack of heat in the BH. If your planning on camping early spring in BC that would be worth checking out.

Now I hope you guys don't call me a traitor for this but Keystone has a brand new model out called Vantage. It has a BH model and the trailer has the shape of an Airstream. It is 8'6" in the middle. It is mentioned in the March issue of Trailer Life. It is a real head turner and one I would have looked at. Like Jayco it is vacuumed sealed construction. Led lights and well planned out. If I remember right I think the model was 34 big. The TW was 750 and the dry weight was the same as the 29ft Jayco. Something to consider. I went to the RV show in Abbotsford last week and unfortunately there wasn't one there.
Good luck in your search.

Thanks for all your help folks,

" Murphie" I spent three days at the Abbotsford show...lol... and came close on a few deals but finally put some money down to hold a couple prices on the two Jaycos I've mentioned. Just have to make up my mind. I realy wanted to get into a Whitehawk but it's hard when you can't see one in person and they won't budge on prices for those units. I'm honestly thinking about the Jayco swift 267bhs with a double bunk over double bunk and trying to get it fully loaded. I like the big slide and the two double over double bunks ( which is new for this year I think ) should work for years to come.

Anyone have history with the jayco swift 267bhs?

Again, much appreciated for all the help.

The Swift 267BHS is another brand new model/floorplan. So new in fact this is the first I have heard about it but I found it on the Jayco website.

It looks to be similar to the Jayflight 25BHS below, but has a double bottom bunkbed instead of two singles.

I can't wait to check out the Vantage at our RV show next weekend in Utah. That is a good looking unit.

Lee, I was off by a few bucks. I check the TL article again and it said the price for the 32 fls model had a msrp 37,205. Not sure where I got the other number.....maybe the website for the smaller model.

Well MSRP`S can and do vary widely, from dealer to dealer and different equipment packages. BTW that Vantage looks kinda low to the ground ?

I was told today from the local dealer that I can get the Jay Flight 28BHS in a double over double bunk. That's a nice option. I wish they told me that last weekend, probably would have saved a few headaches. As much as I like the 29QBH I think the 28BHS makes the most sense. I'll have to confir with the better half.

Thanks for everyones input.

Cheers

Crewmaniacs...we almost got the Starcraft Autumn Ridge 297BHS last year because of the double bunk. I am glad Jayco started offering this option.
