White particles around hatches

Greetings to fellow owners. I was wondering if anyone has experience/knowledge of what could be causing white particles to be present around my storage hatches (including outside kitchen hatch). Can't tell if it is fiberglass or possible styrene (insulation). Very fine but seems to be increasing. Is there an insect that can cause this?
Thank you for any help offered.

Picture? Not really sure what that would look like, but a picture will paint a thousand words...

White particles around hatches

I will try to take a picture next time I'm at the campsite. I'm assuming the particles are coming out of the weep holes?? Material is present around the bottom of each hatch- including the outside kitchen panel. It's a fine white particle (I'm assuming styrene insulation or fiberglass)

Will be taking pictures this weekend and posting To better help the imagination though - imagine someone collecting course fiberglass shavings (a little smaller than a salt crystal) and sprinkling them around the base of each hatch frame. Definitely not mold. pure white and dry to the touch. mystery to me.

that sounds like mold... mold spores can multiply without water just humidity...

try spraying it with a mold killer or wiping with a bit of bleach mixture do one and see if it doesn't kill it off... if not then a mystery it is!

It looks like "sawdust" from when they cut the hatch opening in the foam sandwich panel that makes up the exterior of the trailer.

White particles

I’m not sure how I could still be getting’sawdust’ particles accumulating after 5 years with the trailer remaining stationary the majority of the time. The material is either fiberglass or polystyrene.
