2016 DSRL, digital thermostat upgrade was well worth the effort. 2 main irritations, walking through the bathroom to get to the bedroom and not enough room for the recliners at the back of the unit. Overall a very nice unit with a couple of idiosyncrasies. First pulled it with a SC F150, plenty of power, but got blown around in heavy winds. F250 is a much more relaxing tow experience.

Nice to hear that yours is performing well with your TT. Wish my initial experience would have been the same. Happy camping!
I actually moved this hitch from our 08 Silverado 1500 to our 2500 soon after moving up to a longer/heavier TT. Easy swap just had to get a taller toe bar as the white hawk stands a lot taller than our Keystone. Suspect you are right about the faulty set up with your Reese hitch. Anyway different folks have different likes and dislikes. There are some bad hitches out there but Reese is not one of them.

Good towing.

We Love our 2017 27DSRL

Our TV is a 2013 Toyota Sequoia Platinum 5.7L with Equalizer 4 way WDH. Prodigy P3 brake controller. We towed it home to GA from Indiana in April 2017. One of the completed trips was to Arkansas. The hitch performs well even when passing or meeting semis. Tallest mountain so far was near Monteagle TN with no issues at all.

Not one issue with the TT so far, outside of the LED light recall. It's just the two of us, and this TT has loads of cargo space. Trailer mods include: Hard-wired progressive EMS in the island between recliners, Coleman digital thermostat, battery disconnect switch, and Furrion wireless backup camera.

Enjoy your WhiteHawk, we surely do!!!!
