Whoops… Wrong caulking…

I mistakenly applied Dicor Non-Sag Lap Sealant Non-Leveling caulk where I should have applied Dicor Self-Leveling Lap Sealant while performing preventive maintenance on the rubber roof of my 2011 Jayco 33rlds. What are the consequences? What should I do if anything?

I believe the two are similar except one flows a little more easily and thats why the say it is self leveling.

I also have a 33 RLDS. What areas on the roof should I be checking? What would I notice that would require some new sealer?

The self leveling dicor is what you need to do the job. Look for cracks in the caulking around roof openings or loose edges where caulk is applied.

The area can be cleaned and any loose old caulk can be carefully removed and the self leveling Dicor put right over the top to cover the damaged area.

Forget the caulk and buy Eternabond tape. Once applied you never have to worry about it again.
