Window leak

New to the forum but 26bh owner 2 years. On our second trip of the year we arrived at camp just before a heavy rain storm. When getting ready for bed my wife noticed a puddle of water on the floor under emergency exit window. Contacted dealer who contacted jayco and was told that the exterior of all Windows needs to be sealed and inspected 2 times per year. My question is why are the Windows not sealed when they are installed. And how do you check Windows for leaks other than spraying the outside and hope you see water on the inside if there is a leak .
2009 jay flite 26bh that was 2 years old to the day when leak was spotted

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum slgmble4boys! Check out this previous thread on Resealing RV/TT Windows. Pretty informative and helpful if your rv is out of warranty and your leak becomes a DIY project
