Window Shade

Who has installed one of the velcro mount shades over the window on the door of your TT? Do they block the light very well? What brand did you buy? TIA

I haven't. I was planning to get some clear velcro and cut a piece of reflectix insulation to fit the window and just stick it on. Depending on where you camp, for the summer, you may want reflectix window insulators for more than just the door window.

I bought this shade from IKEA for $20.00 and mounted it to the valance. Great for the sun and privacy at night because I replaced window with tinted glass.

Honestly, when we needed to black it out because there was a kiddo napping we would just throw a towel over the screen door section to block out the light. One less thing to pack and store. Worked great.

If you are even remotely handy and want a semi-permanent solution, you can take out your window trim on the inside and install a piece of reflectix, sandwiched between your window on the outside and your window trim on the inside.
