Winter Covers

Any recommendations on winter storage should i get a cover or not? And if so what is a good cover to get.

The only two pieces of information I've received about covers is 1) "We don't bother covering or RV's". That came from a salesperson. 2) If you decide to cover, definitely DO NOT use a standard blue tarp because they hold in moisture. Get something that breathes and will let moisture out.

I just bought this one.
Seen it recommended in a search. Nice video on how to install and design.
Camping World has it on sale right now. Cheaper than amazon.

Permanent cover

Have any of you considered a metal RV carport to provide year-round protection from the elements? Our 2010 22FB (bought 2/17) is in near perfect condition inside & out, & we want to make it last, but the North Carolina hot summer sun is already working on it. Looks like a RV carport will cost $2.5-$4k, depending on how much you enclose the sides & rear. So it would be a long term investment. Any thoughts or experience?

If I had the land I would build one. Thats the way to go if your have the room and money.
