Winter int a 2016 27DSRL W/ Glacier Package

Hey all,
I have been doing a ton of research and have found nothing concrete about using my 2016 Whitehawk 27DSRL in upstate NY during the winter.

I called Jayco and they said the unit is tested to below zero but it has only been tested in controlled test environments. My question is what can I do with the black and grey water tanks or do I not need to do anything because they are already insulated. I think I can skirt the unit but how do I keep it warm under there during Jan, Feb and Mar (the 3 coldest months)? Any help would be great. This is my first trailer so I'm new to this whole thing

Thanks

Welcome to JOF

Using your propane furnace will provide some hot air to your tanks; However, many campers use electric heaters in their campers in winter to save money on propane use. This, of course, will reduce the amount of warm air to the tanks.

I would guess if it gets really cold, much below O, you would risk your tanks freezing up. If you have a sewer hook up keep them drained out, close the dump valves when really cold and put a little antifreeze in each tank to protect the valves.
