Winter is coming!

I have my Jayco 32TSBH setup on cinder blocks for better stability as it's setup on a permanent site. My question is, should I be removing the blocks for winter and just leave it on its wheels?

I'm in Mt Tremblant Quebec so this coming weekend is it for our season.

Leaving it on (exposed) tries is bad. Covering them is a good thing.

Welcome to the forum.

IMO, as long as it is good and stable on blocks, leaving it that way over the winter should be fine, but that is just my opinion. It is not based on experience. Maybe someone here that has actually done it will respond.

We just leave ours uncovered. Soon enough the snow covers the tires. And in Feb we go dig it out. If we were to cover it would be all the way around as tires frozen to the ground are not good. That happened once to us on a car left for 13 months when owner was in the service.
In your situation I'd just leave it.

My coworker and I were just talking about this yesterday. He has his trailer on a permanent site near Lake Pymatuning (Erie PA). He pulls up his stabilizers and just lets his trailer sit on the tires and tongue jack once the cold weather sets in. He said that since the ground doesn't stay frozen all the time at the beginning and end of the winter season, there is lots of uneven settling around the blocks, leaving his trailer uneven and twisted by the time spring finally rolls around. Since he has been just leaving it on the tires, it is much less of an issue in his opinion.

However Gatineau is next to Ottawa.. Once winter sets in it stays. I have friends in Meech Lake who have a very long pond hockey season
