Winter Lithium battery care

Since we are talking battery questions here, do I need to take my lithium battery inside if I keep my camper plugged in all winter. Temps normally stay in the 40's but we do dip down into the single digits on some overnights.

Per Renogy ( who I got mine from) you should not charge under 32 degrees unless it is a heated battery. They also suggest long term storage is best done at 55% state of charge. I take mine in for safety but don't leave it on a trickle charger. If yours is in a safe place and completely disconnected from any load you can leave it in place. Cold won't hurt it.
Go to Renogy - learn section and it is under solar for beginners.

Good info! I have another question. I currently use two 6 Volt wet cells in Series, but was considering switching to a Lithium battery. A forum member suggested I check that my factory converter in the travel trailer is compatible with Lithium first (wise!). Since there was no documentation with my converter when I bought it, and other than contacting Jayco, do you have any suggestions on what I could look at on the converter to find out if it's Lithium compatible?

Two ways come to mind.
Check inside the little door or cover for the exact brand and model number then research online for a manual that might mention lithium.
Post the exact model number, brand and any other info for other owners who can look it up or have already gone to lithium.
In my case it does not charge lithium much above 80% but I don't care because my 200 watts of solar will charge it to 100%. When I am plugged in I don't need the batteries and the solar will keep them at 100% anyway.

Great question! there is a button (mine is A) on the control panel tht allows you to scroll through a list of battery types that you have installed in your trailer. Than, tap the other button (B) to lock that mode . Your butttons mayy be different than mine as it is a Eagle HT, 2001. Like most electronis, if you scroll through the menu buttons, you usually can figure out the procedure. If not, do not call Jayco-call the control panel company as you are standing in front of the panel and they should walk you through it (or give you a website to refer to.
