Winterization

Took my 2017 Whitehawk back to the dealer for winter storage. $150 for the entire winter season. Having a cover installed over the bathroom air vent to prevent the ice and snow from possibly coming in.

Asked the dealer to put my tire covers on for the season too. Do you guys cover your tires when it is stored during the winter?

Feel sad to let her go for the next 6 months.

Steve

Man, you gotta move to a better climate where you don't have to put it away for 6 months. If storage is in direct sun I'd cover the tires.

Sad to say mine is going away for the next 7 months most likely. What a great season though! It sits on our property in a nice treed corner, and we use it as a guest house from time to time as long as it's not too cold out. I stare at it longingly out the window all winter.

We cover everything. Camper, tires, and tongue jack. We try to do whatever we can to keep her looking as good as we can, and the sun from rotting the tires.

That's an awesome storage fee. Cover tires is on my list.

I always cover my tires, even between trips in season.

I am new to the game on storing for the winter. I live in the "snow belt" near Buffalo NY.
I am planning on using the BH26 during November, and it will be dry camping. (any kind of weather is possible) Last few years have been warm to too warm,

Should I be concerned about the pipes if the weather turns bad? (While Camping)

I store the trailer at my home. Should I leave it plugged in to keep the battery from draining?

I have mine always on shore power to keep the batteries in top condition. If plumbing is all indoors you're OK with +/- 30 freezing temps as long you have an underbelly.
If the Tanks are heated and the unit is well prepared for constant freezing temps.
Otherwise remove the toilet and use Poty Poty instead and use bottled water.
