Wiring maintenance & inspection
Add to your periodic maintenance check list all wiring connections!
I have a Jayflite SLX and I was doing my between trip inspections when I discovered two yellow wing nuts on the floor under the sink! Further inspection revealed two separate 12v wire junctions without wing nuts lying under the flexible aluminum heater ducts. This could have caused a problem if they were energized and contacted the metal ductwork. I replaced the wing nuts and securily taped them to the wires so they would not vibrate off again!
