Wiring mess

I like that idea. You can't have too many tools.
I think I'll start here.

There is just no pride in workmanship any more. The manufacturers are forcing the technicians to get it done as fast as possible. Better, cheaper, faster was the term used at NASA when I worked there. Turns out you can only achieve two of the 3.

They don't make them like they used to. I sold my old Fleetwood, no problems what so ever in the 15 years I had it.

Yep, our son couldn’t believe the way our 100+ thousand greyhawk WAS WIRED. IT is even worse than that. No automotive connectors, tape holding things together. Our son removed the taped connectors and corrected Jayco’s supposed wiring mess. You want to see even worse, go behind the main tv. OMG.

I feel your pain. However, have you ever looked under the dash of a boat console. Its worse than the worst birds nest you have ever seen. Gets down to what the customer will settle for. Unfortunately thats because there are no codes or regulations. Manufacturers are always more concerned about the profit margin.

How cheap can you get before it's a safety issue?
