X-Chocks
Good morning!
Questions:
do they really work?
are they worth the money?
What about the cross-supports?
Thanks!

We use them and definitely notice a difference. I’d recommend them.
Not sure about cross supports.

I use x-chocks and JT strong arms on mine. Kids playing in the top bunk at the end of the trailer in the morning drove me insane before. It doesn’t wake me up now.

I use these. They're easy to use no tools and requires no bending over to install and minimal bending to remove. If you have back issues these are great

I use the Camco brand of X-chocks. They are much less expensive, easy to store, and have worked well for me.

Throw em down, kick em in place and step on them. Once you have the initial spread set up they're a piece of cake

X2 on what Woodworker has.
I had made a DIY version of the XChocks using two 4x4s cut at an angle on each end and a piece of allthread with lock nut on bottom and adjustable but on top.
But the Fastway chicks are so much easier, faster and all together more convenient.

Someone mentioned no tools. The X-Chocks I have came with a ratchet tool that is used to tighten and loosen them (it's sized to the nut at the top of the shaft shown in the picture).

The X-Chocks greatly reduce front to back motion. You will still get some side to side motion due to tire flexing.

I, like you, have a large TT. My X-Chocks helped but didn't complete the job. I believe that the lateral movement on our large trailers need to be dealt with as well. NewBlackDak has the right idea with the JT strong arms. Their are a few solutions out there for this diagonal movement and, one of these days, I'll justify the expense...
Cheers,
Jeff.

x-chocks
DW and I agree that they work. We used a pair on our 23RLSW. It had a smaller tire than our current TT. When we got our Whitehawk, we also purchased the extended x-chock. Not all movement is stopped, but for the most part, yes they work.

I don’t notice a difference honestly. Sometimes I forget and don’t bother. I use them on 2016 Jayco 26bhs. 30’ 7200lb

X-chocks stop most of the front-to-back movement of the trailer when the kids are running around. When I'm on a slight or no incline, I just use the x-chocks. When I'm on a more significant incline, I also use my standard chocks.
My trailer came from the factory with electric stabilizer jacks. They help a little. The previous owner added scissor jacks a little ways between the tires and the factory stabilizer jacks--4 scissor jacks in total. Those make the biggest difference of all. I just run them up or down with my cordless drill.
