X213 Rear Slide Travel

Hey guys... I'm extending the rear slide until it stops... should the interior trim still be around 5-6" from the rear wall? Thanks!

Ours has a gap as well. Can't recall if it's 5-6" but I'd say at least 4". It's still in storage for a few weeks so I can't confirm the size until then.

Mine is tight, does the slide seal against the trailer walls? I can't fit a finder between the trim and wal I can feel the "bulb" seal is pressed against the walls. Does the slide hit the top then the sides (at the bottom) just before it stops opening?

That gap on our's is much smaller than that.

Check the slide level when it comes out. Should be level with the roof line... The older X213s prior to 2010 had trouble with this. Some were tearing up the couch and bench seats...

There are adjustments for this...

I just went out and checked mine (2012), and there's approximately a 1" gap between the back of the wood trim that surrounds the tip out and the rear wall.

Thanks Danno... I actually measured mine today... It looked way worse from the trim, to the rear wall. There's a thick plywood backing and I'd say there's approx 1.25" inch so I think it's normal. I hold the slide button until it stops and clicks once.

Sergeum - Was just saying if the slide is not moving level it may not hit the seals even- might be cause of the gap perhaps...
