ye olde toilet leak

Hi
ive a 3 year old jayflight 23mbh.

This trip im just back from i experienced water at the base of the toilet. Not much but enough to keep putting down paper towels. Not sure if its caused by the flush or a constant slight leak.

I plan to hook it up to water in my driveway, n keep flushing n see if its the fresh water connector or the seal. If i have to unbolt toilet i will.

Its clear, un-smelly water
so it must be making its way down from the freshwater flush somehow.
Oh btw. the water seal at flush point hole is NOT draining. so i dont think a leaky seal.
Any thoughts-experiences-tips on doing this?
Thx in advance for any advice.

While your down there install a shutoff valve so if it ever happens again you won't have to close off your main water supply.

I found mine by either laying or wrapping toilet paper around fittings and hoses. Good luck.

Which brand of toilet is it? Sounds like the flush valve may be leaking.

its a thetford aqua magic v. I tracked down the little water-module assembly kit. If its not that then at least i'll have the part for when it will be that.
Thats a great tip on the tissue around joints to isolate the leaks

Ours was leaking as well. I replaced the water module and the valve and good to go. Turned out it was the module that was leaking. It will only leak when the toilet is flushed.

In our case the supply water connection had slightly loosened and just needed to be snugged down. We had just finished a camping trip. Had to take a 2 mike dirt road that was nothing but wash board, which loosened the fitting on the toilet and the cold side of the sink.

We had the same issue and replaced the toilet with a porcelain Dometic one with the foot flush and sprayer. It was worth the couple hundred dollars upgrade money. It works flawlessly and stays much cleaner. The sprayer really helps keep it clean too. I have the 2015 23MBH as well.

The seal on the foot valve leaked on our trailer after 5 years of lots of use.
