Your favorite camper/camping Christmas gift

If you're like me you asked Santa for something to make your camping experience better the next time you go out. I asked for a vent cover for our new camper as well as a tire changing ramp (just in case).

What did Santa bring you?

A magic chef portable ice maker.....doesn't seem as relevant right now with freezing temps, but this summer....oh boy, I can't wait!

I too got an ice maker for Christmas. Very excited for some field testing. With some Christmas money I was thinking about getting a tongue box. Get rid of the cheap plastic battery box and have a little extra space for some tools. http://www.harborfreight.com/steel-t...box-65439.html

The DW let me "hand-pick" this weather station, clock / calendar with wireless remotes just prior to Christmas. It can be used on (internal) battery or plug-in transformer power. From my initial tinkering - it's pretty sweet. The only disappointment is that it resets when it automatically switches from battery to plug-in power - so there is loss of weather trend data and some downtime while everything resets (atomic clock, remote sensors).

A mid winter trip south. Perfect Christmas gift after a quick trip [no RV] north to visit with kids. Never to soon to go RV'ing and always to soon to thing about winterizing. Just me, the wife, and our 2 dogs.

I was fortunate to receive a full set of Horst Magic Probes for the black and grey waste tanks, to replace the unreliable OEM sensors. Now if only the weather would warm up enough to let me install them . . . . . .
