2013 12 sc

Good Morning..I think this is my second time here actually being logged in..I tend to lurk around and read everybody else's posts..anyway..We bought a new 2013 12 SC Sport around the middle of Feb. and it has yet to be brought out of the garage..(terrible isn't it?) I want to change out the white steel wheels with a set of aftermarket trailer wheels with the same rating...13" 5 on 4.5 with 1660 lbs weight..Has anyone had trouble with the factory tires? These have only the mileage on them from the dealer to my garage and I really dont want to buy new tires..am I good to go? Thanks in advance !

Welcome to JOF

I don't own a PUP, but I'm sure some PUP owners will chime in.

IMO your OEM tires when maintaining the proper PSI should give you acceptable performance within the load rating of the tire and should be fine.

When considering an upgrade on the OEM rim, also confirm that the center bore size and offset are the same.

Bob

Thanks Bob..I knew about the offset..Hadn't really considered the fact that the hub hole might be a different size..Better check that out..Thanks again. Brian.
