2015 Jayco Baja 1001xr awning question/issue

Hi there,
We just purchased a 2015 Baja and I'm in the process of sorting out the awning. I have the awning tracks slid into place but I cannot find out how or where these two pieces fit in. I know the one with the center hole is for a third support pole but how do they fit into the awning tracks? I have scoured the internet looking for a pic or a diagram but have turned up nothing. Is there something I'm missing?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
