Not sure about 1 person, but we always put it out when the top was about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up. Just leave the guy ropes a little slack.

Been a while since I did one. What part are you having issues with?

Your question sounds like, you want guidance on how to do the initial setup. It really is a 2+ person job. I unzip, and get the awning out of the bag, while the roof is down. Lift the roof 3/4+ the way up, and give it a tap to knock it down and finish up the lift. Really do not recall how I did the legs on my Brother's PU. Ours had separate adjustable legs and guidelines. If you have guidelines, stake them out at 45 degree angles.

Our old TT, did not have a built on awning. We had to slip it on and off with every use. My Brother's awning is like yours. I have done is solo, and it is a pain, don't try to get it perfect the first try.

We've had 2 pop ups with a bag awning, and it's really a 2 person job. We'd crank up the roof just high enough. that I could reach the zipper on the bag. roll it down, and then the DW and I would assemble and attach the arm and poles on our respective sides. Then I'd raise the roof up while watching that the awning stayed in place, making any adjustments as needed. You may cause damage trying to juggle it on your own. Just my .02 worth.
