Bag Awning Mod Ideas

Anyone toss their janky bag awning and replace it was something more affective and user friendly? The bag on mine is falling apart and I really don't want to get another one. Any diy ideas?

We have not tossed the bag awning, but my wife never wants to use it again. Also unsure of replacement options. Another bag awning that we have to roll up over our heads (that my wife can't reach) is not the answer.

I replaced the Dometic bag awning on our put with a Shademaker from RV Workshop. All the poles and hardware were self-contained which made set-up and take-down a breeze.

Just a tip to make this easier. We always removed the poles and left the awning hanging until we had dropped the top down a couple of feet when packing up. MUCH easier to roll and stow that way.

Also, when setting up I would unzip and undo all but one of the velcro straps before raising the roof. MUCH easier to get the bugger out that way too.
