Barker Slide Out Controller Near Pump?

I just bought a 2018 Jayco 12SC and opened up the front bench and was surprised to see a Barker Slide Out Controller next to the water pump. The 12 SC does have a dining room slide out, but it is definitely not motorized so I'm really not sure what the Barker controller left of the pump is for or the little black Barker box right below the pump. I tried googling the part numbers but didn't have any luck. Anyone have any ideas? I assume they are there for a reason otherwise Jayco wouldn't have spent the money or time putting them in.
