Battery 2005 select

I just got a 2005 select. When I took it home, the previous owner handed me a battery. As I've been looking around on the thing, I cannot find where it goes. Where does it belong?

on my 2006 select it is mounted on front just forward of the propane. That is where the wires should be, Mine has a battery box there.

The battery is a wet cell 12v marine battery. Its old and has leaked acid, so I'm assuming I need to get a new one.

countryboy, could you post a picture of your wiring setup, so I can have a visual on how it hooks together? The previous owner did some "light" electrical work. I've had to rewire a bunch of stuff to get it to work as it should. Fellow even left a bunch of live wires laying in various parts of the trailer without tape or wirenuts on them.

No question about it... get a new one. You do not need problems when camping.
