Battery Power Not Working

I bought a used 2005 Jayco Jay Series 1206 and the battery power is not working.
I have checked all fuses and they are good, I even replaced the battery and still nothing.
Any suggestions?

Assuming the battery is charge and correctly connected as far as polarity, if none of the 12V items in the trailer are working then there has to be a blown fuse or a bad ground. I would start at the battery and follow the wire make sure there isn't a main fuse from the battery that is blown and from the battery negative terminal that isn't properly grounded to the frame.

Check for switch on front of the converter.

On My 2003 , there is an inline fuse holder from the battery near the hitch.. the terminals were corroded.. Also inspect the area in which your main power cable (30/50 amp) resides in the camper.. the first time out this year as I pulled the cable out , it apparently pulled apart a wire connector and I had no interior lights till I did some investigation. the cable on mine resides in the box under the sink where the converter is and isn't separated from anything , so every time i yank that cable out I run the risk of it catching a wire, so Id check to see if any wires came apart too. beyond that , start checking continuity.

99% of the issues with our trailer are related to bad grounding.

May be the converter

I had to replace the entire converter on my 06 Baja. Was a pretty simple job really.

Do you have a multimeter for checking voltage/Amps? If not pick one up at Walmart. We will then have a lot of questions for you.

I had a similar problem last weekend.

For me it was a bad connection.

On my trailer, the in line fuse located on the positive " + " terminal of the trailer has two green leads coming off of it. One lead goes to the battery, the other lead is connected to the trailer wiring by a wire nut. The wire nut was completely rusted along with the copper wiring. I cut and stripped the wire and grabbed a new wire nut and it solved my issue.

Take apart your wire connections and inspect.

Id get a new fuse holder , and solder it back in line.. Id bet there is corrosion under the insulation deeper into the wire than you can see..
