Battery wiring

Can anyone tell me if this battery wiring is correct on a 2018 10sd pop up? Something is draining a brand new battery. All circuits are turned off in the camper. See photo. Thanks much.

Do you have a CO2 detector?

That sure looks like a lot of positive wires going to the battery. If I might suggest, replace the nut on the negative side and replace with a wing nut for easy connection and disconnect the battery when trailer is in storage or not being used.

X2 on the LP/CO monitor. They are hard wired to the battery and the only way to not drain it is to take off one of the battery wires or add a shut off. I like the simple one for 9$ that has a simple screw in connector. Easier than taking the wires off each time and simple to install.

Alternative is to get in the habit of keeping your camper plugged in, adding a trickle charger like the Battery Tender JR. or solar. Kill the battery a few times and there will be little life left in it.

Really cannot make out the wires at the battery without actually tracing them down to find out where the other ends go, but that is something that only you can do. Never seen one with that many wires on the + terminal.

I'd start by removing those wires on the + side one at a time. Use process of elimination to determine which circuit is drawing current.

The wires are correct in the pic..check that co2 detector.

Wait a minute...ribbed lines are negative. It looks like one may be ribbed going to the + terminal.

I worked in the marine industry and when someone brought a boat in with wing nuts on the batteries we replaced them with nuts. Wingnuts didn’t hold up very well to vibration, especially with numerous wires attached to a post. I use the same in rvs I work on.
