Connecting car for more power

We have found ourselves in an area for 5 day. The weather forecast is overcast and rainy for the time we are here. Our one solar panel (120w) and one battery don't seem to be enough for us. Not having the money to spend and not in a place where it would be appropriate to run car engine or gen I was wondering the following. I have a 110w solar on the car. If I connect the 12pin socket to the car will the car charge van if car is not on?
The car chargers the van when we are driving.

Welcome to the forum.

Of course we don't know your car etc., but I think that NO; connecting the trailer connector will not charge your trailer battery.

If it's overcast, even if the car solar could provide power to your trailer, it is likely not to be enough. Even if it's not 'appropriate' to run the generator or car, that may be your best alternative.

Personally I would rather do without power than be stuck there with a dead battery.

What vehicle are you driving and towing? You mention a car and a van? Would help to know what RV you have. Agreed that one battery won't last for 5 days, unless you use very little, even with a marginal charge from the panel. Run the heater and your toast in one night.

This little Sportsman inverter generator should keep your battery charged.

Home Depot has it on sale today for $189 online.

I LOVE MINE.
