Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone ever replaced the labels on the exterior of your campers. Our 2010 1006 looks brand new, except for the info labels on the outside, they are all faded and flaking off and cannot be read. All I can find our the vinyl Jayco replacement decals, but nothing on the info labels.
Thanks!
Our previous RV was a Keystone Cougar that we bought new in 2007. By 2014 I had to replace the decals on 3 sides. Getting the old ones off was a PITA! I used a heat gun to peal off the old decals but this also left glue residue on some areas. After trying several less harsh substances I ended up removing the residue with acetone. I then washed and buffed the gel coat several times to brighten it up. Then was the fun task of applying the decals to the trailer with out letting them wrinkle and keeping them strait. That was the last RV I'll ever own with decals. From now on it's full body paint!
To answer your question I would call Jayco and give them your VIN # and they'll look in your file and they should have all the info you need for a new label .
