Easiest way to clean the canvas?

This is more a question about methods than about what cleaner to use.

What way is the easiest to clean the canvas? Do you set the camper up all the way and use a ladder? Pop it up just enough to get the canvas hanging out, leaving the beds pushed in? Take the canvas off completely?

What kind of scrubbing tool do you use?

I always raised the roof so that the top was just at a comfortable reach, and then pulled the tenting out and let it hang to clean the top surface. Make sure all of the windows are fully zipped. I used a sponge and a soft brush for any tough spots. Once done with the roof surface, raise the roof the rest of the way, carefully extend the bunks, and setup the tenting to clean the tent sides and dry.

We would raise the roof all the way but not pull out the bed platforms. Let the canvas hang and clean it that way with a small two-step ladder. I found it was better to let them hang straight down, it kept leaves, rain drops, etc. from hitting the tops. No big deal during nice weather though.

We have a hybrid, so no top to pop. But I just setup like normal. Grab a small step stool my carwash brush a bucket of warm water with Dawn dish soap. Give it a scrub, rinse with the hose and let dry.
