First Camper- 01 Qwest 10x

The girlfriend finally cracked the whip and said no more tenting so we picked up a dirty on the outside but immaculate on the inside 2001 Jayco Qwest 10x. The camper was outside under pine trees for a whole summer without being cleaned and has been in storage for the past 4 years until we got ahold of it. After 4 hours, a pressure washer, scrub brushes, and awning cleaner we managed to make it go from black to white. Being my first camper I have a few questions about it. It seems as though it may have a water tank on it. Any ideas on how big this tank is or if it is even there? Also, I noticed that the drain from the sink is just a tube but there is not holding tank for it. Does this just drain to the ground? Also, I am interested in finding a screen room for the awning. Is there any certain screen rooms any of you have had on your 10 footer that seemed to work better than others? The camper is an hour drive away from me so I want be able to get it until the weekend and I have no way of getting to it to answer any of my questions. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Congrats on the new camper. I have no answers on your setup though...

There probably is a water tank but I wouldn't use it until it is THOROUGHLY disinfected. The sink drain runs to a fitting on the outside of the camper (which you have found). Just use a piece of garden hose to drain it to a spot a few feet away from the trailer. Sorry I can't help you with the screen awning. We just use the awning for cooking under and then have the table by the campfire. Have never used a screened in area; guess the bugs don't bother too much. Congrats on the purchase. We moved from a tent to a popup a few years ago and it still feels like the Hilton!

I have a 2004 Qwest 10X and mine doesn't have a water tank either. I think it may have been an option for those models. We have a hose section that we connect to the outside connector to drain the sink.
