The curved supports have to go on first before the bed is extended at all. You will (should) find two slotted clips right at the top edge of the trailer box with the top lifted. The downturned end of the flat section goes into this clip. The other end of the curved support should fit into two lugs welded to the A frame of the trailer. If you find the top slots, the rest should be pretty obvious. That was for our 1007, the geometry of the 1006 could be different.
Once they are in place you can pull the bed out and it will slide across the curved supports. Placing the straight supports in their position will lift the bed back off of the curved supports, but if sufficient weight is put in the bed, then the curved supports will pick up some of the weight from the center of the bed.
