heated bed mattress pad ?

I just bought a 2013 jayco series sport8, it didn't come with the optional heated bed mattress pads. Can this be added on after the fact and if so is it something that can be done at home or does the dealer have to install it?

We purchased and have used residential heated mattress pads in our rv for many years.

I have found an electric blanket is far more effective than the heated mattress or pad. Turn it on a couple of hours before turning in and it is perfect.
