Help in Identification

My husband and I purchased this pop up camber from a neighbor, and have really no information on it. It's one of the originals, but I have no model number or a Vin. Based on these pictures could anybody help me find some information?

As mentioned check on the A part of the trailer tongue. If you can't make out the numbers sometimes you can lay a piece of thin paper over the numbers and do a light pencil or charcoal rub on the paper to see the numbers better.

We had a '72 Jayking 8 for about 18 months. It was a wreck when we got it, I should never had bought it, I knew nothing about trailers at the time. We fixed it up and sold it for close to what we paid for it.

It was very similar to yours. That looks like a '73 Jaycardinal. That was when they came out with the 14ft box with dual axle. Some friends of ours had an early '80s model of the 14 ft.

Lower left of this web page has brochures.

There is usually a make plate somewhere on an RV. Mostly I have seen it on the drivers side near the front. Try feeling around on that silver tape and see if there is one under there. Sometimes they are on the frame.

You could also look at any tags (unlikely) that they remain unless they are inside the cushions.

Quick Google-fu suggests a 1977 Jayco Jay Cardinal dual axle popup camper.
