Help with model

Hi! I just recently purchased a 1979 Jayco pop-up for next to nothing! It needs a decent amount of work, including a new canvas but I have a big problem. I don't know what the model is. It is nowhere on the paperwork, only the vin. I'm attaching some pictures and hoping someone can help me! I already called Jayco directly and since it is an 11 digit vin and not 17, they couldn't help me.

Welcome Abaord! Looks fairly nice. Do you know the length?

This link might help identify which model. The box is usually the length listed. From there you might be able to do some googling to figure out exactly which model you have.

If you can figure out which model you have, here is a link to finding an owners manual.

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/12...?page=5#manual Just type in "Jayco" then the model name, such as "Dove"

Contact the RV Hall of Fame and MH Museum in Elkhart. They have a lot of info in their Library so they may have the brochure that you could use to match up your floor plan.

Try some paint remover on the label and see if you can get a reveal of the model number there.

Have you checked to see if the model is listed on the title? I know here in Texas the model names are listed on the title, not sure if that is true everywhere. ~CA
