Unhappy holding tank outlet.

getting ready for our first trip and was checking everything out. the valve coming from the holding tank, where you hook up the garden hose, broke off. It had been previously been broke over 3/4 way around. Now I have a valve with the pipe broken off even with the valve and 1 1/2" black pipe where it broke. I am going to home depot to get a coupling and put a regular stopcock on so I can connect a hose. No camper stores nearby so I will fix it right later. any Better Ideas?

Its a 1 1/2" valterra valve. the inlet end is glued in and it broke right at the end of the hub on the valve. I am going to attempt to take a dremel and get the broken piece out. It seems to be glued pretty good. I can buy a new inlet hub from valterra. I just e mailed them

Nope its a pop up ,this fitting comes from the shower holding tank and has a 1 1/2 inch valve which adapts to a garden hose. Valve was broken off at the hub of the valve.. Sure wish I knew how to post pictures here.
