I need help identifying my campers model.

First of all, thank you for the welcome to Jayco forums, i just bought this camper today and it is my first one. I have no clue what model it is, could anybody tell by the pictures? its a 1996. Also does anyone know if it has an actual fridge or just an icebox? Thank you all in advance :wink:

I'm gonna say negatory on the fridge. There are no condenser coil vents on the street side of the unit for a fridge. I think all you have is an ice box.

that looks like a nice pop up! yes to the no fridge as no vents for it on the side by the furnace. enjoy your new camper!

It appears to be a Jayco Series 8....

There should be a propane stove that sits in the 4 circular cutouts in the countertop.

Great! I assume your going electric....still you will need to consider ventilation....possibly an upgrade to your converter.

if im just putting a small fridge the same size as the ice box (just big enough to hold like 12 cans) would i still need to upgrade the converter? and i would still add ventilation

Are you talking a 110v dorm fridge? I would just leave a 2" gap around the opening where you slide it in and no you wouldn't need to upgrade the converter as you'd be running straight 110v.

You'll have to check the manufacturers specs for installation clearances, ventilation and amp draw. We owned an electric dorm fridge that we would take cabin camping - it ran suprisingly hot and had plastic shunts that held it away from the wall. They typically aren't designed to be "built-in". It would also be useful for you to know the amp draw of any other appliances you plan to take - or that your TT is equipped with (A/C, Electric Griddle, etc) and compare it to your TT service breaker.

EDIT - Re-visited your pictures....doesn't look like you have A/C option. Existing 110V should be fine....but still a good idea to check the specs (amp draw) of the aftermarket fridge beforehand.
