If you can't spot your Jayco VIN..
Found mine today! If you go to the back of the trailer and look forward, under the frame, you will see a metal pad screwed to the frame with the number on it. I attached a pic that shows the stamp, and cropped off the last digits for privacy.

I was under my Starcraft Autumn Ridge today checking the coroplast, tighening bolts, etc. and found this on the frame rail…a Jayco ID Sticker. My trailer was built just about the time Jayco acquired the Starcraft brand. Must have been built at Jayco.

Good to know!
I was so happy to find that stamp. The prior owner had no idea where it was, and there was nothing on the tongue, so I was very concerned that I may have been scammed! Didn't help that he didn't have the key, either LOL

The first post is a VIN number. The second post looks like Lippert Components shipping label for the frame to Jayco (Starcraft). It might not serve to identify the trailer properly, and wouldn't be used to register the trailer.
Both of my Jayco trailers have had the VIN plate as identified in the first photo, the good thing is this one does not fade the way the side decal can.

We do not have an enclosed underbelly. I found ours years ago, rear passenger side, near the corner. I had to be laying on my back and looking straight up to see it. Maybe 1" wide white label, with 3/4" tall letters. Was shocked when I found it, as I had been working in that area a few times earlier and had not seen it.

That's probably accurate. It's a decal on the outside front of the frame rail.
My actual VIN and Serial number, which is the letter and last 7 numbers of the VIN, is stamped into the frame up by the tongue.

Ours is in the same place. It's attached to a cross member of the frame with the number facing the bumper.
