Jayco 1006

I just brought our new 1006 home this weekend and love it. We only got to camp in the driveway but compared to our old 1207 and 04 flagstaff, this is a caddy. We had them put on the ac before we picked it up. It also has the power lift roof. Looking forward to a great camping season. I've read that we should drain the water heater after every use, what do you guys think? can you please tell me where the drain is. Is it where the plastic plug in the heater door

Jayco 1206-- Your heater should be on an outside wall and have a service door . After you find it check, out the mods section for the drain mod, it will make your life a lot easier if it will work with your heater as there isn't much space to work with. Yes ,drain after each trip to avoid stinky / stale water. Larry
